Since the rains washed out our season opening social on May 10, we are now scheduled to begin our social season on Saturday, June 14. Play will begin at 9:00 AM at the Hollyfield Park courts. This event is open to all players of all levels and will be in a round robin format changing partners about every 20 minutes or so. Socializing with snacks and drinks will follow at 11:00 AM. If you cannot make the tennis, try the social if you are new to the area or have not participated before.
You are asked to contribute $2 per person (half goes to purchase flowers to plant around the gazebo to spruce up the area) and bring a snack to share (fruit, coffeecake, rolls, cheese, etc.). Balls and drinks will be provided.
Please call Ken or Sharon at 972-2616 to reserve a spot so we know how many to plan for.
This is a monthly event, so if you cannot make it this month due to your busy schedule, please mark your calendar for the 2nd Saturday in July and join us then. July hosts will be announced at a later date.

It has always been difficult to get contributors for news articles. Now that we are nearing the end of the season there should be lots of pictures and stories to tell that can keep us going during the winter ahead.
Let's promote local tennis and encourage others to join us.
